I once had this one idea about French soldiers and couple of American doughboys going after a treasure behind the German lines, right in the closing days of WW1. I originally planned it to be a comic book story, then started to write it as an illustrated novel. Now, it's somewhere burned on a CD.

Yes, sort of. Great, I keep that in mind :) I'm still busy with a big painting project, but I'll try to find the original script and see if I can work that into a short story.

Great job as always. Hey, what German militaria of the 1914-1918 era do you have? I have a gift in mind for you, but I don't want to replicate something you've already got and I also don't want to spoil the surprise. Great timing with this piece.

Your acrylic work I think is the ideal way to portray WWI. You've achieved such depth of... everything, really, with a few mediums. Acrylic, charcoal, tea and ink, so on. Great stuff, really great stuff, as I've said before. Here you've got a rather good representation of light slanting through the trees. I just realized how rare it is for me to see that done so well - in some areas, it's very obvious while in others it's rather muted. Here we have examples of both, making it a very believable scene. Not photorealistic, but realistic enough to draw the viewer in.
