Fairly good picture, very good line. The Finnish resistance would be for nothing anyway though, as they were forced to cede even more land than the Soviets asked for. It just goes to show you: General Winter is tough, but not tougher than a million Russians with tanks.

Majority of the territory Finland lost after Winter War was never fought on. And I must clarify that Soviet Union wanted to take the whole country. They didn't succeed in that objective.
If you're interested in military history, I can recommend reading about the Continuation War and Lapland war as well. People tend to only know about the "legendary" Winter War.
