I really like the monochrome palette you used here. It simplifies all the forms and evokes that peaceful foggy-morning feeling. That's something that's missing from this field's images I think; too many artists are busy showing us the lives and times of the clawed and toothy, whereas there's much peace and beauty to be expressed about these animals as well. In all of 140 million years not everyday was a killing spree. Bravo!
Nice to hear and I agree with you. Dinosaurs should be depicted like modern day animals as a part of the nature and the environment. Of course you can create epic battle scenes, but it's more realistic to make more peaceful situations. I was talking about Douglas Henderson earlier; he portrays prehistoric animals like this (even when there's action involved) and the scenes are really impressive.
