Hmmm... I could do some sort of "tutorial" or study, just about how I do my illustrations. I always start with pencil sketch, and often use a greyscale-marker to highlight certain things like outlines, details etc. Then I start with the acrylics. When doing an acylic painting, I tend to start from the background and advance from there, for example; sky, ground (basic tone/colour), object's base colour, shadows, details, adjusting shadows, more details and finally the light (reflections etc).

Interesting, i wanted to know because i would like to start doing paintings, but i'm almost sure they will suck, even for just a beginner, so if you got any tips, you're very, very welcome!
Oh, another thing, do you use any references or something else?
And do you have any simple ideas to practice at Dinosaurs and other Prehistoric life?

Kind regards !

Background research is essential, if you want your dinosaur to be scientifically accurate. If you don't care what they really (as far as we can say) were like, it's fantasy art, not paleo art.
I look at skeletal references to get proportions and skulls right. I don't want to copy other artists' reconstructions, but I do look at them for ideas, and also to avoid something that's already been done. Often I look at modern day animals for ideas.

Referring to our early discussions, I think you're just fearing to start working. You need to work, work, work...
