This particular StuG assault gun, number Ps.531-10 nicknamed "Bubi", took out 11 enemy tanks in summer 1944.
The crew of "Bubi" included the commander Staff Sergeant (later 2nd Lieutenant) B. Brotell, the gun loader Private A. Launikko, the gunner Lance-Corporal O. Soimala and the driver Lance-Corporal S. Kauppi.
