Said it a million times, but here's a million and one: you do magical things when you paint water.

Love the striations of light going over the back of that Tylosaur and the light on the surface above.

Also I want a speech bubble on that Ginsu shark. I dont know what I want it to say but I swear he's trying to talk to me.

Tässähän tämä, töitä riittää eli läski tummuu ja asiakkaat itkee. Tuu poikkeen ja ottaan kuvaa... tammikuulle on vapaita aikoja tarjolla.

Well, maybe not in peace, but even carnivorous animals don't always bother to fight each other in every opportunity. They're simply co-existing...

Damn. If I was to draw the this picture, I wouldn't be able to handle the lighting. The glimmer from the surface would end up looking like cracks in the figures, but you somehow managed... and it gives a good sense of how big those sea creatures are. :+fav:

Thanks for the fav! These days I pay much more attention to light and shadows, and look at reference photographs for natural look and colours. References + experimenting, I warmly recommend :)

Beautiful. 'Nuff said.
I liked the way you did the Tylosaurus' tail flukes. Pretty distinct without being too fish-like and still allowing the animal to resemble the classic mosasaur look.

Thank you and yes, I was trying to be careful with the tals. Now that I look at it, it could have taken more...

Kiitos. Kalaparvella koetin saada aikaan hieman mittakaavaa ja etäisyyttä elukoiden välillä. Olin nokkelana keksinyt tämän jo alkuperäisessä maalauksessa vuodelta 1998 (josta tämä siis on uusintaversio, vanhan olen näemmä poistanut galleriasta jo aikoja sitten).
